Skills can vary greatly in price depending on how powerful or complex the skills is, while more simple skills that simply increase a base stat are often a lot cheaper to purchase - though you can only equip two inherited skills at a time. However, a skill that is inherited cannot stack with the Emblem's own skills if equipped, so you will want to inherit the skills from an Emblem that you do not plan to equip in further missions. Within the Ring Chamber, you can trade in Skill Points with any Emblem Ring that character has bonded with in exchange for the skills they would normally grant the user that has equipped them. Once you have a few Emblem Rings on your side, and deepen your bond to Level 5 with them (which requires talking to them at the Somniel), you'll gain the Skill Inheritance option. However, the same does not seem to be the case for equipping Bond Rings, as you'll still gain SP equal to half the XP earned from the arena match.īecause of this, we highly recommend quickly swapping out Emblem Rings for Bond Rings before using the arena (as well as equipping that unit's best weapon), and then putting the Emblem Rings back on afterwards.

In addition, you can also get SP through arena sparring at the Somniel - but it isn't as straightforward as you might think. Note that certain extreme staff moves that heal a group of allies, or Micaiah's Great Sacrifice skill will incur a massive amount of XP and SP for each ally affected, so consider using it to gain a massive boost! You should have enough Bond Fragments at that point to make sure your full team has a Bond Ring regardless of its rarity, and as you get more Emblem Rings, they should all be equipped (and you may even want to consider swapping them around to prioritize extra SP gains for those falling behind). You can do this as soon as you complete Chapter 4 - A Land in Bloom and return to the Somniel (but can actually equip the 3 Bond Rings given from Fire Emblem Heroes Account Reward a bit earlier at the start of Chapter 4).
